# Percept Biosciences Awarded NSF Grant to Accelerate Drug Repurposing

We are excited to announce that[Percept Biosciences has been awarded an SBIR Phase I grant from the National Science Foundation](https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2410320) (NSF) for our groundbreaking project, "Percept Development Plan Agent (DPA): Accelerate Drug Repurposing Research and Development."

Our DPA will optimize drug repurposing plans, helping smaller teams navigate the complex biological, competitive and regulatory landscape thereby reducing costs and speeding up the development process. By integrating data from multiple sources, our tool will streamline regulatory submissions and enhance the efficiency of drug repurposing, especially for orphan diseases.

We are honored to receive this support and look forward to making significant strides in drug development. Stay tuned for updates on our progress!
